BFPA

BFPA, The British Fluid Power Association represents the interests of over 240 companies in the Hydraulic and Pneumatic sector. In the years since its formulation in 1959, the BFPA has grown from a small group of mutually-supportive companies to a major Trade Association undertaking business on a truly international scale.

The Association provides full support services for its members with an emphasis on Education and Training, International Standards Development work, Market Statistics and support at both UK and International Exhibitions. The BFPA plays an influential role within the world of fluid power standards owing to its position as an external secretariat on behalf of the BSI, the UK’s National Standards Body (NSB).

AKDER

AKDER is established in 1994. As of today, has 81 memberships. AKDER consists of members who manufacture Hydraulic and Pneumatic products in Turkey, distribute on over certain commercial levels and perform projects.

Mainly, AKDER represents all members in Turkey and around the world, exercise in order all members to comply with the rules of business ethics. In the line with CETOP’s recommendations, has provided a training center called UAGEM in Istanbul in order to give Hydraulic and Pneumatic education and training.

Cooperates very closely with Turkish Standard Institute, involved in the evaluation of international standards by establishing Mirror Committee. Informs members on the sectoral issues through its website which is set up in Turkish and English.

SWISSMEM

Swissmem unites around 1400 companies active in the mechanical and electrical engineering and metal industries (MEM Industries) and represents the business, social and training policy interests of its member companies. This sector is also called Tech Industry and plays a key role in the Swiss economy. They are by far the largest industrial employer.

The division Swiss Fluid Power Industry regards itself as the interest group for Switzerland’s manufacturers in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. The companies active in this sector are in a position to offer total solutions on a customer-specific basis – one of the Swiss suppliers’ numerous strengths.

GOP

GOP, the Swiss Fluid Power Association, was founded in 1971 and consists of about 75 member companies in the fields of trading and production. The aim of the Association is to promote the common interests of all member companies in the fluid power market. The members of GOP endeavour to support the technical education recommendations and economic development of the fluid power industry.

TGS

TGS works with market statistics, market trends and economic barometers. Furthermore, we negotiate with, among others, exhibition organisers and carry out training/provide information in the industry through interesting speakers and study visits.

Transmission equipment is a wide range, from simple components to complete systems. To take advantage of all the interests, there are six product groups. Representatives of each group/product area have separate meetings in connection with the annual and autumn meeting and/or if necessary. These are responsible for the market statistics in each area, all in order to make the statistics as relevant and usable as possible.

SFMA

SFMA – the Swedish Fluid Motion Association is the new association that was established in 2019 through the merging of HPF (Swedish Association for Hydraulics and Pneumatics) – established 1962, and IFS (Fluid System Engineering Association) – established 1972, and currently comprises some 60 members.

With joint forces the aim of the new association is to become stronger in promoting the industry and quality, safety and reliability when using hydraulics and pneumatics. SFMA actively supports standardisation in Sweden and works for increased information and education of users and suppliers in this field. SFMA is also the certifying body for hydraulics engineers in Sweden – a quality and professional benchmark for the automation industry.

AIFTOP

AIFTOP is the Iberian Association of Manufacturing and Trading Companies in Fluid Power Transmissions and Components. It is born in 2006 as a union between Spain (AEFTOP) and Portugal enterprises. AEFTOP was founded in 1966 with the aim of representing all the brands relating to the fluid power sector (Hydraulic and Pneumatic Technologies).

AIFTOP is a forum where manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, customers and educators work together to develop and promote industrial automation driven by fluid power technologies. The Association informs its members concisely on all matters, about industrial trends, changes and issues.

FTS

Fluidna Tehnika Slovenije is the Slovenian association of manufacturers, distributors, users and educators in the field of fluid power technology. Actively participating in the field of fluid power branch on issues as laws and directives, terminology, standardization, training, exchange of information etc., the association encourages closer cooperation between industry and expert institutes and universities, monitors new technological trends and provides its members with information.

FLUIDAS

The Association’s principle objectives are the development of the fluid and pneumatic power systems field and connected activity fields (lubrication systems, electronics and automation in hydraulics and pneumatics) by means of creating, promoting and developing research development and innovation programs and themes, at a national level.

FLUIDAS is a co-publisher of the technical magazine “HIDRAULICA”. FLUIDAS is a co-organizer of the International Conference of Hydraulics and Pneumatics – HERVEX.

Corporation

The Polish Corporation of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Drives and Controls was founded in 1994 as an organization of economic authority, independent of the Polish Government. The Corporation unites 20 manufacturing and trade companies, scientific institutions and associations in the hydraulic and pneumatic sectors. The Corporation is a member of the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Machine Components and Technology.

The main objectives and tasks of the Corporation is the development of the domestic sector of fluid power industry throughout the country as well as representation and protection the interests of member companies.

NFEA

The Norwegian Association of Electric and Automatic Control (NFEA) is a politically independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the fields of electrical engineering and automation. Established on January 1, 2018, through the merger of the Norwegian Association for Automation (NFA) and the Industrial Association for Electrical Engineering and Automation (Ifea), NFEA comprises approximately 270 member companies and 15 educational and research institutions.

The association focuses on networking, competence development, and enhancing the competitiveness of Norwegian industry. The organization operates five regional branches across Norway and collaborates with both national and international partners to offer a diverse range of activities, including courses, seminars, and conferences.

NFEA’s mission is encapsulated in its slogan: “Passionately concerned about the competence of the future – through learning, sharing, and networking.”

FEDA

FEDA has more than 150 member companies, with a focus on fluid power, pneumatics, electric & mechanic motion control and industrial automation. FEDA organizes fairs and congresses to help their members gain knowledge and offer a platform for networking and promotion. For the growing market for innovative automation and motion solutions FEDA helps its members in being competitive.

ASSOFLUID

ASSOFLUID is the Italian Association of Manufacturing and Trading Companies in Fluid Power Equipment and Components. Since 1968, the year of its foundation, ASSOFLUID is the most important Italian reference for all the operators of the Fluid Power sector, with 180 member companies and a share of 70% of the whole national market. Fluid Power industry in Italy employs more than 20,000 people.

The Association’s principle objectives are to coordinate, represent and develop the technical and economic interests of hydraulic and pneumatic industries.

Starting from June 2019, ASSOFLUID joins in FEDERTEC, the Association representing the Italian Industry of Smart Mechatronic Technologies for Fluid Power, Power Transmission, Motion Control and Industrial Automation.

VDMA

The Fluid Power Association within the VDMA represents the interests of over 200 member companies from the fields of hydraulics, pneumatics and sealing technology, comprising over 85 % of the market.

The Association informs its members concisely on all matters relating to fluid power and mechanical engineering. Thanks to its link to the VDMA (Mechanical Engineering Industry Association), with more than 3200 members, the Association has access to information and contacts for all its major markets.

The Fluid Power Association organises and participates in working groups and committees, liaising closely with experts from its member companies – with the industry, and for the industry.

ARTEMA

ARTEMA is the French Mechatronics Industries Association. It brings together more than 150 member companies: suppliers of components, solutions and systems in the fields of: bearing and linear motion, chains and transmission elements, fasteners, gears and gearboxes, hydraulics (mobile and industrial), maintenance and services, mechatronics, pneumatics and automation, sealing technologies.

ARTEMA’s members started to use very early mechatronics. They integrate very complex mechanics, electronics and informatics technologies in their systems which increase a lot performances, productivity, and environmental impact of the products. ARTEMA is member of the French Mechanical Engineering Federation and in Europe of CETOP, EIFI, EUROTRANS and FEBMA.

FFPA

Finnish companies, which operate in the Fluid Power business, are members of FFPA, the Finnish Hydraulics and Pneumatics Association, which was founded in 1977. The association currently has 58 member companies, and their combined turnover covers 95 % of the Fluid Power market.

Vision: Target of Association is to maintain successful and progressive field of high technology, which is operating as innovation leader for Finnish industry and is preferred as employer.

Mission: Task of Association is to contribute development in field of hydraulics and pneumatics in Finland and take care of preconditions for success in global activities.

BITVA

BITVA is a commercially oriented nationwide industry association with more than 140 member companies. The industry’s companies are suppliers of all types of automation and automation solutions, transmission systems, tools and machine tools, accessories, equipment, spare parts, etc.

BITVA’s mission is to ensure continued development in the industry through the industry’s interests towards authorities and promote professional advice to the industry’s customers at:
• conveying knowledge about – and insight into industry development
• promoting the social and professional network in the industry

• to convey to knowledge about all matters that are of general interest to the industry

CAHP

CAHP is the Czech Association for Hydraulics and Pneumatics, representing 21 member companies and in existence since 1997. In this same year, CAHP became a member of the international organization CETOP. The Association’s general objective is to provide an opportunity to exchange high quality, recent information on developments, design and research in the field of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Indumotion

INDUMOTION, is the association of manufacturers, importers and distributors of material and services in industrial automation. The members of this federation are active in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electromechanical and Electronic transmissions, as well as in power as in motion.

The mission of InduMotion is to distribute, develop and explore the technical and economic know-how of its members and to promote industrial automation.

InduMotion publishes the largest technical trade journal in Belgium, AUTOMATION MAGAZINE, and is organizing partner of INDUMATION, the industrial automation exhibition in Belgium. InduMotion currently counts 80 members and covers the majority of the Belgian Industrial Automation Market.
